Booking the Cathedral

Your Cathedral Nelson is first and foremost a place of worship but it is also a perfect venue for many types of performances. As a beautiful space with fantastic acoustics, it is ideal for choral and chamber music events.

Our sound system and 4 hi-res cameras allow your event to be shown in house on two large TVs and/or live streamed and/or recorded.

 

Nelson Cathedral has the best acoustics in Nelson for singing voices and choral presentations.

Your Cathedral boasts a magnificent organ, grand piano, flexible staging solutions and an audience capacity of 350 (300 during Christmas Tree Festival).
