The Choir

The Choir sings at both the Sunday 10am Eucharist Service and the Choral Evensong every Sunday at 5.30pm. The music sung at these services is reflective of the rich and varied musical traditions in the Anglican Church. The Choir are a welcoming and inclusive group who enjoy leading the people of Nelson City in traditional services of worship on Sundays and major feast days, under the direction of our Choral Director Nigel Weeks QSM.

We currently have vacancies in all parts. If you are a Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass with good sight reading abilities and are able to blend as part of a Choir, please contact the Cathedral Office on 03 548 1008 for more information.
